Which hosting plan suits me?
One or two sites without much traffic? Slim is fine. If your site is growing or you run several projects, Plus is the logical choice. Running a web shop or a busy site? Take Pro. You can upgrade at any time without rebuilding your site.
Is the domain really free?
Yes. With every hosting plan you pick a free domain name during checkout. The SSL certificate is arranged for you as well, at no extra cost.
Icecast or Shoutcast, which should I pick?
Icecast is open source and handles multiple mounts at once, handy if you offer different qualities or channels. Shoutcast is supported more widely by older apps and radio directories. Not sure? Icecast is the safest choice for most stations.
What does AutoDJ actually do?
AutoDJ plays through your music library automatically when you are not live. You upload your tracks, jingles and playlists and your station stays on air day and night. Go live and you simply take over.
When should I choose Only Radio Server?
When you stream from your own studio or software and do not need AutoDJ. You get a bare streaming server, which is considerably cheaper.
I need more AutoDJ storage
Then add Extra AutoDJ Space. You get 15 GB more for jingles, shows and playlists. You can add it to an existing plan at any time.
Can I register my domain with you?
Certainly. You register a new domain directly in My Centova across dozens of extensions, from .nl and .com to .radio. The domain is linked to your hosting or stream right away.
How do I transfer my existing domain?
Request a transfer token from your current provider and enter it with your domain name on our transfer page. We handle the rest. For most .nl domains the transfer is free.
How do I log in to my account?
Use the Log in button at the top of the site to go straight to My Centova. Log in with the email address you ordered with. Lost your password? Use the reset link and you will get an email within a minute.
How quickly do I get a reply to a ticket?
Usually within a few hours, and in almost all cases within one working day. We are reachable seven days a week and you get an answer from someone who actually works on the servers.
