What we need

- The domain name that needs to move
- A list of email addresses that should come along
How it goes
- 1You open a ticket with the details above.
- 2We put a copy of your site on our server and test it.
- 3You get a test link to check everything is right.
- 4Once you approve, we point the DNS to our server.
- 5Within a few hours the migration is live worldwide.
Only cancel your old hosting once the migration is fully done and you have watched it for a few days. That saves hassle if something was missed.
What you arrange beforehand
- Set your DNS TTL to 300 seconds a day in advance, that speeds up the switch
- Make a list of every email address that has to come along
- Note which forms and integrations your site uses
- Do not cancel your old hosting yet
What to check after the migration

Keep your old hosting for at least two more weeks. Mail that was on its way to the old address sometimes still lands there for a few days.
