Why I started Centova
I ran a radio station myself and had a web shop alongside it. My stream sat with one company, my website with a second and my domains somewhere else again. Every time something broke I had to work out who to contact.
What bothered me most was the support. You sent a message and days later got a canned reply from someone who clearly had not read it. Meanwhile your station was off air.
So I built Centova. Everything in one place, servers we set up and maintain ourselves, and support where you speak to someone who knows how an Icecast mount works. No script, no queue.
That is still the promise. If you email you get someone who works on those same servers. And if something is our fault, we simply say so.
How we work
We do not overload our servers
Rather one customer fewer on a machine than a slow site for everyone. SSD drives and a stack tuned to what runs on it.
You get a real answer
No bot and no copy paste. Ask in Dutch, English or Spanish and you hear from someone who knows the servers.
No long contracts
Radio plans cancel monthly. With hosting you get your money back within 30 days, no argument.
We tell you when something breaks
Outage? Our status page tells you what is going on and when it is fixed. No silence.
